Send All Calls button... 2

...I went into the programming and changed button assignment 4 to SEND-CALLS ext. 7229. When the user presses the Send All Calls button, the green light blinks twice, goes out and he says that the calls are not forwarding from his extension of 7224 to 7229. Any suggestions?

I would leave send all calls blank, create a new coverage path for that extension and use it instead with SAC. May be more work than what your trying to do but I never use the extension field.

I created a new call coverage path so that calls could route to 7229, but how do I insert it on the phone set in the programming with a coverage path already assigned when SAC is depressed?

Just change the coverage path on the station form to the new one you created. The SAC will follow that coverage path. You may want to put your voicemail hunt-group as the second point of coverage on the your newly created coverage path. This way if ext. 7229 does not answer it will go into 7224 voicemail.

The Send Calls button is used to send calls to your coverage path.
When you enter and value in the programming, when activated send calls on the extension you put in the programming, not the extension your where at.
i.e. send_calls 3440, programmed on station 3449. When the send calls button is pressed on station 3449, would turn on send alls calls for station 3440.

Making a new converge path for station 7224 with extension 7229 assigned in the converge path before voice mail. Then when you select the send calls button on station 7224, all new calls to 7224 will give one short ring on the station before following the converge path.
