O and i also have a bit of an issue with my score as well. i have it so when a sprite intersects another sprite then +1 is added to the score. problem is it keeps adding 1 until 1 sprite is away frm the other. how do i get the sprite that has been hit to remove from the stage?

If your top scores are gathered from various people then you'll need a database and a server side script to keep track of people's scores.
