I have a customer that is currently using a bell scheduler software that plays through their overhead paging system as well as all of their existing digital handsets (Toshiba Strategy). I am proposing a different scheduling software for (Valcom Multipath) but I don't see how I can get it to play through the overhead and the IP phone's speakers at the same time. Valcom is telling me that all they can provide is a 48ohm output from the Multipath to jack in to the PBX. Any ideas, even if it's a different bell scheduler?

The current scheduling system is wired into a Toshiba telephone, that has been modified with a specific manufacturer provided circuit board, and has a serial input from the PC running the software in to the back of the phone, so reusing what is there is not really in play.

hmm maybe vm pro with the alarm function alerting the ip sets and the valcom hooked up to an alog port, totally untested but may get the grey matter flowing?

You could wire a voice announcer or other sound maker and configure it to go off hook via a contact closure from timer device. Configure hotline short code to paging. Most schools don't do bell tones thru phones...
