Hi,

I have been asked to configure SBC with some complex scenario. Need help regarding this

On SBC one NIC i will be getting two ISPs SIP PRI, mean all incoming calls on two different vendors SIP trunks will hit SBC one NIC, cannot use other NIC due to some reason. Is it possible to configure a single NIXC of SBC for two different ISPs SIP PRI???

Second, if possible, how may i route the calls out through these two different SIP PRI`s?? i mean the dialout prefix 044/078 is related to SIP PRI1 and 065/064 related to other SIP PRI2.

You can have multiple IPs on 1 NIC on the same VLAN.

You can do it all with a single IP on A1 and B1. It's just that you'd need the SBC config to decide which calls out to which numbers use ITSP1 then 2 or ITSP 2 then 1.

If you have 2 B1 IPs and 2 A1 IPs, then it's as simple as following a standard reference but doing in twice - you'll know which ITSP it came in from and when SM sends it to the first or second A1 IP, you'll know which ITSP you intended to route it along.

Ok and thanks. Can you point some specific document or sample configuration for the same scenario?

No. Find the devconnect doc for your SIP trunk, assign 2 IPs on B1 and A1 and just do what the doc says twice.

Thanks for your kind help.
Take cares

I am able to installed SBC application and initial configuration along with one SIP PRI, now stuck at the second SIP PRI configuration going IN/OUT on the same NIC. Can somebody point a specific TAB which differentiate the two SIP PRI incoming/outgoing call. I mean which TAB in SBC need to be configure to differentiate the outgoing call route.

As kyle555 said, add a second ip address to A1 and B1 and add new signaling + media interfaces. Now copy you existing config using the new signaling and media ports.

I am just getting confuse, sorry for that as it is my first time with SBC, but how i segregate/differentiate, lets say i have to prefix 333 and 444 and i need 333 goes out from 192.168.19.9 and 444 should go out from 172.19.12.8. Which TAB is differentiating this scenario?

Perhaps you can make a little drawing of what you want?

The SBC can do that but I always avoid that and built 2 trunks on the SM, or IPO in this case. Then the IPO takes care of the routing

Below is the diagram how two SIP PRIs communicating with a single NIC, i am able to configure one PRI and it is working OK but confused about the configuration of second PRI on same NIC. Which configuration TAB/Option will differentiate the dialout path, i mean which call should go out using first SIP PRI or which call from second PRI, Is there any similar document having the above configuration for the same is available on web??

You need to create URI groups with thos prefixes and assissgn those to the endpoint flows. But as said before, I do not use prefixes. I add a second IP adress on the inside and outside NIC, create a second signaling- and media interface for the inside and outside and clone the rest of the config.

Thanks Bro for the help.

I will try to configure what you suggested.
