I have a 007mlm voicemail card. I have progammed it so that when a call comes in on the operator's extension (extension 10), the phone rings once and goes to the automated attendant. I am having two problems with this.

1. I have the dial 0 action set to transfer to the call answer service operator (extension 10). when you hit 0, the call transfers to the operator and goes directly back to the automated attendant main menu.

2. An outside caller can transfer directly to and extension from the main menu, although all of the extension act the same as the operator extension. The phone rings once and goes directly to voicemail.

What I would like to do on both of these problems is to increase the ring interval to maybe 3 or 4 but still have an incoming call just ring once before the Automated attendant picks up. Can anybody Help?

What class of service do you have the voicemail set to? - should be set to 3

Gheck your group cover delay.
Sys Progran>Extensions>MORE>MORE>Cover Delay>Group. This is how many rings you will get out of a phone before going to VM. Depending on wether or not you have any primary/secondary covers programmed.

I have all of the voicemails programmed to class of service 3. When I set the cover delay to 3, all of the phones ring 3 times before the voicemail will pick up, which is good, but the problem being is that the operator station rings 3 times on an incoming call before the automated attendant picks up. I would like that to ring only once or not at all.

it sounds like you do not have a Release 7 Legend, as on the R7, you can change the group cover delay on a per extension basis.

Hoy Vey, I would jump up to a 7. That would make for a very easy fix. Do you have the lines assigned directly to 770?

No, but all lines are assigned to pool 70 and that is assigned to 770
