Hello!
I am in desperate need of connecting remotely to our switch (G3v4). I live over an hour from work and get called constantly to make "Emergency" changes to our call routing.

How do I even begin to set this up?

I appriciate any help.
Thanks!

Do you know the telephone number of the inads line? If so just dial up with your software of choice...

We use Teranova or DSA via nokia mobiles using IR to the Laptops and this works well. It can be quite querky to get working but either DSA or Teranova should do it on most machines. Hope this helps
John

How do I find the inads ext? I ran list ext and found nothing. Is there a default station name it would be setup with? I see a ton of NETCON ext's but these do nothing when dialed.
I assume I can use Procom Plus, right?
Thanks, S.R.

When all fails time to get dirty. Most of the time the system will be set up with a pots line. this would not be in the switch. Some times (if your lucky) you might find it in the bulletin page. Back to getting dirty, on the back of the switch look for the modem coming into the switch and work backwards to the mpop to find the number. Look!!! New Buttons
Same amount of time!

Thanks All Phoneman2

You were right. It's a pots line rigged up so i couldn't find it.
You guys totally rock!!! THANK YOU!!! S.R.

Don't forget to put it in the bulletin board for the next admin. Look!!! New Buttons
Same amount of time!

Thanks All Phoneman2

hi
Easy way to find the inads ext is your connect to the pair 25 of AUX terminal (by test phone with "crocodiles" or any telephone set) and call to the station with display - you will see the number of modem ext.

That would be nice of me, wouldn't it. S.R.

Very you never know...someone could read this and add it to there bulletin board. Next thing you know your the new admin, with the INADS number :) Look!!! New Buttons
Same amount of time!

Thanks All Phoneman2
