I thought this was the answer to a lot of my issues solved with the 3300, but oh no.

Deployed first system using ring groups, which had ddi's pointing at them, then the customer asked me for a message when the system was set to nightservice, easy thinks me i will do the same as i do when i used to have to use multicall keys to simulate group ringing, i will go to call re-routing and do things that way, but oh no ring groups can not have re-routes programmed against them!

This is such a pain as how do i do nightservice if i cant re-route the ring groups DN to voicemail when system set to Night 1 or Night 2?

Any ideas

Thanks
Woody

Anytime I require re-routing to voicemail or other I always create my Pilot number as a Non-Ring Key appearance on a virtual PKM somewhere in the system.

I then route it always to the actual destination I want (in this case the ring group)

Any voicemail integration goes off of the original dialed digits (pilot).

Added benefit, MWI keys can now be programmed as well.

This method works for ACD groups, Hunt groups, so I cant see why it wouldnt work for Ring Groups.

Ok i will give this is a go, but it is not ideal.
