I resell a lot of Nortel and when I clean up and polish the T7316's they look real good. I use Plexis plastic cleaner and polisher. The one problme I have is the wear marks on in the location of were the top and bottom of the handsets rest in the cradle.

Any suggestions for eliminating this wear mark either with a buffer or polisher. On other sets I ahve actually seen a matching plastic sticker that rests in the exact location to cover the wear marks.

What have you found works best when you refurb or clean up a set?

dremil (sp) tool with buffer disk and use "vim" cleaner

cleans really nice and gets minor scratches out

Thanks.

Can you give me an example of a VIM Cleaner. I assume that I can get a drimil (sp) tool at home depot or can I get a buffer attachment that woudl fit my drill?

I got one and tried it last night. First thing is not to run it to hight cause it buikt up heat and melted the housing in a small area. Also the gloss was of the plastic became dull.
