I'm sure that there's a thread out there for this; however, I'm not finding what I'm looking for and that may be due to my own wording.

Our office has several Avaya 9640 and 9620 phones, an IP 500 V2 control unit, and we use IP Office R7 Manager [7.0(31)]. When we miss a call and then go into the call log (specifically on the 9640s as that is what I interact with most often), we cannot use the redial option. We would like to use this option instead of dialing the number from memory or writing it down and then dialing it.

We're in the US and utilize 9 before dialing out. The 9N short code is present.

Please let me know of any other useful information I can provide and thank you in advance.

Put the 9 in the line(s) prefix setting :-)

Perfect solution, per usual.

Just a little extra background for you, since you tend to answer about half of my questions: I work for an engineering company where former IT has always been whatever engineer is available at the time, more or less. They hired an outside company for the phone aspect but no longer use them and rely on me for such things.
