Rear Display on MICROS WS4 doesn't display anything

Did this start after an upgrade?
We upgraded our 3700 systems to the new cisp compliant version and found that the old rear displays wouldn't work. It had to do with the workstations encrypting everything before shooting it out anywhere. Maybe the 9700 is having a similar issue.
