There is a few options. What's the best driver in terms of stability?

Thanks!

I cross-posted to Linux forum. Hopefully it's ok.

The drive is used on Linux most of time and only need to be used to transfer files from/to a Windows box occasionally. So I would like to use ext2 (native on Linux).

If this a dual boot setup, then that makes sense. I've never tried to read an ext2 partition directly from Windows. If it's only occasionally, have you considered using a usb memory stick or some other intermediate medium?

If this isn't a dual boot, you'd be better off sharing through the network via Samba or NFS.

Copy the files to a FAT32 partition, reboot into Linux and mount the FAT32 partition...
