Hello,

I have an application that when I run it, I get "Could not Register c:\softest\ssimenu\remotapl.ocx". When I run the application as administrator I do not get the error. I believe it is a permission error, but I can't seem to find it. I get the error by running off the desktop and from Nfuse.

Any ideas?

Thanks
Gary

To determine if it is a file permission error:

1. download and run Filemon on the server:

connect as a user and look for "failure"

apply the needed permissions to the file.

Note that it could be a registry/permission problem (or a dozen other items) but sysinternals also has regmon for free.

Hope this helps,

Tony

Did you try re-registering the OCX as an administrator?
