Netware 6.1SP2
Client 4.91E SP2

We have a Win2K workstation that just started having a problem at boot.
Soon after we login to the Novell Client dialog, it closes as normal,
runs the login script, but then we get a Windows dialog:

"nwlscript.exe - Application Error"
"The instruction 0x77FB66C3 referenced memory at 0x0000000.
"Memory could not be read."

The Windows shell/desktop never starts, the screen is empty backgrnd,
and we have to logout and login again just to the workstation alone, without Netware.

This Workstation has been working perfect for years. Something has
gotten broken in Windows. Tried uninstalling/reinstalling the Client, no change.
Checked on the web, there are reports of this problem, tried some hotfixes
on Windows, but still no change. Tried reinstalling Win2K/SP4, no change.
Tried copying in backup of \WINNT folder still no change.

Also tried unselecting the "run script" selections in the NW Login dialog,
but that had no effect either. Nothing seems to affect this.

Obviously something got broke/corrupt somewhere, but it's next to impossible
trying to figure out where. It could be in the Registry, some file, etc.

We are about to reinstall Windows if we can't get this fixed. Real pain.

Anyone run into this or have any ideas?

Chris.
