customer has a CICS 4.0 I can only get into programing from ext 200 I would like to allow it on on other extensions , I just went throuhg the installers and coordianters guide and I cant find how to do it .

All of the ports are able to program from if there are no restrictions on the extensions. are all of the extensions of the 73xx variety? what are you getting when you try to go into programming?

when I do the **CONFIG I get a tone and it dosnt let me in

I dont reacall exatcly what the display says

yes. you can only program from a 73xx phone that has the three buttons under the display. on ver's R1T1 and 2.0 and the DR5 you could program from a 7208 but with 4 for sure and maybe 3.0 you had to use a 7310/7316/7324 set to program.

bring one with you and you can slap it on an unused port so you won't have to boot the boss or receptionist from the desk.

I do have a 7324 on 200 I didnt mention that ,

I have a old beater 7310 at the warehouse Ill swing by and pick that up and try it and post back

that was it , I was going to say earlier that I had programed it from a 7208 in the confrence room but as I thought about it it was the 7324 I was using in the confrence room before we finished and I stuck it on the receponist desk .

thanks for the quick response .
