We have a IPO500 rls 8.1 and we would like to program a carrier code for billing to each call. The code is 2000 and we want that added to each call for only certain area codes. Can the IPO do this? If so how is this done?

Probably in ARS.
Lets say for example you wanted the 2000 code to be sent for calls, long distance, to a 480 area code.
Your ARS table would have 1480N; for the code, 1480NY2000 for the the telephone number, Dial or Dial 3k1, and your outgoing group ID.
The 1480N; matches well...1480 (area code match for long distance), the 1480N sends 1480XXXXXXX, the Y says "wait for a connected/progress tone" and then 2000 gets sent. It should work. We have something like that setup for a customer for automatic calling card dialing codes.

That should get you started.
