The feature "Legato NetWorker Module for EMC Symmetrix for SAP/R3 on Oracle/32" is not properly enabled for client sapdev.

We aren´t using EMC Symmetrix. Our licenses are originally installed in a UNIX Server. After a new installation (Windows 2003 - Legato 7.1.3) we installed new licenses for the server and used the Option Transfer for the rest of all.

Installed license:
NetWorker Module for SAP R/3 on Oracle, Windows Client/1
- Authorized - No expiration date
- License type Z15

We done the same for SQL Server license and it´s working fine.

Anybody knows what is going wrong?

Regards ... Guilherme.

Most likely you got the wrong license code.

Run "nsrcap -nvv -c enabler". It will tell you much more about the license, expecially the product code. Then compare this number with the price list - it should tell you another number (i hope).

License for SQL Server (that´s fine)
nsrcap -nv -c 7be6fd-378778-2ce4c1
Read an enabler:
name: NetWorker Module for Microsoft SQL Server/9
enabler code: 7be6fd-378778-2ce4c1
license type: Z9
demo days: 45 days
nsrcap: License enabler code is valid.

License for SAP R/3 Oracle (Unix)
nsrcap -nvv -c c44146-883006-27628e
Read an enabler:
name: NetWorker Module for SAP R/3 on Oracle, UNIX Client/1 (2461, 8947, 2561, 8977, 2661, 2665, 8967, 2161, 2162)
enabler code: c44146-883006-27628e (001011177)
license type: D15
demo days: 45 days
nsrcap: License enabler code is valid.

License for SAP R/3 Oracle (Windows)
nsrcap -nvv -c a5bc27-675152-2cd0ef
Read an enabler:
name: NetWorker Module for SAP R/3 on Oracle, Windows Client/1 (2961, 2965)
enabler code: a5bc27-675152-2cd0ef (012060604)
license type: Z15
demo days: 45 days
nsrcap: License enabler code is valid.

The right product code is missing ...

LIC-002019 NetWorker Application Module for EMC Symmetrix for SAP R/3 on Oracle UNIX

We are not using EMC Symmetrix (we are using HP/Compaq EMA-12000 in fact). Anyway, our backup uses LAN (not SAN).Why Networker is asking for that license?

At we found 2019 as you told, but 2965 is also valid, isn´t it?

What is the url with the actual licenses (price list)?

Sorry, i read to fast. You clearly stated that you don't use a Symmetrix.

Although i remember problems a while ago "in that area" i cannot remember the details. You should probably open a support case.

The price list not available to everybody but it is available from Partnernet.

Apparently it´s a bug. Legato is working to fix it.

We were using "SAP R/3 Oracle: 2.1.001".

With "SAP R/3 Oracle: 3.0.1" the problem didn´t happen.
