Client has a 412 running 4.0.14. Dual PRI card with Verizon (Maine)standard PRI services. Verizon forces acct code on LD calls.

Problem is that we cannot get an acct code to recognize when forwarding a phone to a long distance number. We also cannot call the number directly using the short code (same issue). It worked prior to upgrade from 3.2 v54.

Current shortcode:

SC: 75
Feature: dial3k1
Tel: 12075555555,,,,,0100
Line: 5 (PRI)

If you dial the tel. number directly, you can enter the acct code.

did you try 12075555555D0100 or what is actually supposed to work 12075555555Y0100

Y: Wait for a Call Progress or Call Proceeding message before sending any following digits as DTMF. For example, the Y character would be necessary at a site where they have signed up with their telephone service provider to withhold international dialing until a DTMF pin/account number is entered that initiates the call progress/proceeding message.

Unfortunately Y has been broken for some time and my tickets with Tier 3 have yet to be resolved. Perhaps you'll have better luck.

I have re-opened my ticket with Avaya on it. You might wanna start one and ask them to refer to Maestro case 14269909 which claims to have been fixed in GA 4.1 but was not.

I now have the information about the DTMF tones.
In a VoIP connection, it is possible the sounds of two different protocols to send:
1st Q.93x
2nd H.245
If the connection now supports both, the DTMF tones twice received. The IPO has the property of both protocols at the same time the sounds to send.

I hope the information will help you.

I did not quite get the last reply. There is no VOIP here. All the phones are 44xx and 54xx. I have seen on other other systems duplicate tones before, yes.
