I have a form overlay created in Word97. It contains a box with an address and a table containing headings for payslip data.
I have saved this overlay as a PCL5e .prn file and copied it to a HP 8150 hard drive as a macro.
If I send the .prn file directly to the printer from a DOS prompt the overlay is OK. However, if I call and print the overlay from the hard drive on the printer using the command PRINT 27"&f(macro number)y4X" only the text prints, the lines of the box around the address and the lines of the table are missing.
I am new to PCL. What am I doing wrong and can it be fixed?
Thank you in advance.
