Print Outlook 2000 Message w/Embedded Object

I have an Outlook 2000 message that has an embedded .gif in the body of the message. The gif displays fine in the message, but whenever I try to print the message, the printout has and X where the gif should be. I've tried selecting the print option "Print All Linked Documents" and it didn't work either. Does anyone know a way to print this message with the gif?
