PRI takes forever to synch?

I have a PRI between a CS1000m and an Option 11. In the last 3-4 months when it goes down it takes 20 minutes or longer to come back up. Telco has tested to csu on both ends and say it's clean, I have replaced TMDI card and CSU and all cables on the Opt 11 end. Next step is dual pri card on the CS1000 end. Anyone seen this before? By the way when the Telco tests end it pops up quickly, it's only when one of my ends drop that it takes so long to synch.

Both ends get their clocking from the PSTN? Is it the same provider at both ends?

Just ask because the obvious difference is when the telco plugs a tester into the link the tester will clock from the trunk you connect to. It does sound like a clocking issue.

If you LCNT the PRI's in LD 60 you seeing any errors?

Once it is up it runs error free. I am clocking off ATT on both ends and no other circuit on either end has problems. Nothing changed in programming since upgrade last Nov. but this seems to be getting worse and taking longer to come up.

why is it down in the first place you say its clean once its up, what makes it go down again? when it is recovering if you do an RCNT in 60 does that make it come up straight away?

You must be seeing some sort of errors before it drops have you been through the RD Logs?

We lost power to the CSU on the Opt 11 end. After ATT tested last night I moved the CSU to a new UPS and it took 20-25 minutes to come back. I did RCNT several times on both ends with no effect.

We have a switch connected to one company that turns the circuit down when they see a signal loss. We may even have to call them sometimes to release the trunks.

I Don't know then other that taking the links all the way down and bringing them up together. I would change the Dual PRI like you were already thinking of doing but would be suprised if its the issue.

When you brink the trunks back up after what ever failure do the Loops come up ok no errors but the DCH fail? Or is it a problem showing against the Loop?

ATT shows it up. The channels cycle between dsbl and mnbsy when it's trying to come up if that means anything.

I have eliminated the CSU and circuit works great. This a point to point CS1K to Option 11, is a CSU expected as best practice by Nortel? I tried everything including as new CSU and cables but the circuit will not come up with it in place! This is driving me nuts! Thanks gys.
