Hi everybody,
i have been working on pri problem that i coul not solved. My problem is : we have Option 11C rel : 25.40b
when i get status of the pri loop some of the channels are idle and some of them are not and the status is like this:

i disabled dch, cc and pri loop and when i enabled, at the beginning all channels are became IDLE but a few seconds later it becomes like above status. by the way we can communicate with the first 15 channels.
is there any idea about this problem

the far end (service provider) has built only the 1st 15 channels on that t, are you paying for 23 channels? far end busy would be normal on a fractional t. if your paying for a full 24 channel pri contact the phone company

we are paying all 30 channels, some times i saw 5-7 channels are the same FE MBSY status in the first 15.
when i called phone company, all setups are fine there is nothing to do with our side they said.

Ofcourse they would say that !!
I would stress to your public provider all channels are not
connected and you are receiving the conditions indicating this, other than that I would check wiring if twisted pair as Rx/Tx pairs can be reversed ??

copper is not the issue on a pri without a red alarm, if it's yellow or green, layer one is perfect

we have no yellow or red alarm. on PRI card all alarm status are OK !!

meaning both pair to the co are good, software issue on the far end, open a ticket and request end to end testing on all channels with out a service interutp... if the co tries to access each channel, then they will to at least post that ckt...

i created a root for first 15 channels as route 9 and the second 15 as rote 8. first 15 are still IAO and last 15 are only OGT. i tested. it did not work and i changed last 15 channels back to IAO also but still same. that means i have two routes and both IAO now.
is this cause this problem ?

I have run into this problem many of times in the field. Have your far end provider reset the B-channels on the T1. This will most likely fix the trouble. I always get them to do an end-to-end test and they say everything is ok, when really you can't make a call. Sometimes the channels will say idle and you can't make a call, again the Bchannels need to be released and brought back up.

far end provider reset the E1 but it did not help but when they dialed one by one and it did work.
