PPP CONNECTIONS FOR MEDIA SERVERS

This is very strange. I must have about 30 PPP connections on my laptop and just all of a sudden none of them work. Now the modem answers and I get the terimal window and the login, but it will not let me type anything in the window. Now all of the ppp connections worked before so I know they are set up right. Just wondering if any has happen to anyone else.

can you try and set one the suspect PPP connections up on a different PC to see if it works on the new machine?

Yes I have tried this too all my machines in my office don't work but only one does. I dont know if we were hit with a virus or not. My network guy said we look good no virus.

I had this happen to me and it was one of the automatic Microsoaft updates that caused the problem I went in and removed all upddates since the 20th of June and that fixed mt problem

joseph48 is correct. It is a Microsoft update issue. Remove the updates and it should work
