Power Outage - Now VM says INACTIVE FEATURE - HELP!

We have an old Norstar system, and the Voice Mail module says STAR TALK on it... 6 years + old.
After a quick power outage, phones are back up, but Voice Mail says "Inactive Feature".
I've powered it off/on w/o success.
Also powered off, pulled Flash Card, put back in, still
says "Inactive Feature".
No power button or other things to do that I can see, I just pulled the plug from the surge protector.

ANYONE have any advice???

It may have defaulted, I have seen this happen before. In which case you must treat it like a new system, alas all info is lost!
Press F903 to select a feature code range.
Then press F983 and enter the password 266344
Good luck.....

yep silver987 is right ....more than likely all programming is gone

With all due respect, you're going to have to call a vender to help you reprogram your system for you since it seems that you're not familiar with the system. For a couple of hours of work, believe me, it'll be definitely worth it.

It may have fried. Startalks don't take power hits very well.
If you can't get the feature codes to work or F903, it's toast.

I have had the the misfortune in the south of dealing with many Startalks that have taken power hits, and in most cases they don't live to talk about it. If you have power cycled multiple times and cannot F903 as galfaro mentioned, it is time to replace the system..

[Refire]

This is how I bring them back up
Disconnect DN ports from v-mail
Do feat **938378
Pswd 266344
Press First
Press Next until you see Test
Remove Feat 983
Connect v-mail ports back up
Power down then back up
wait a couple of minutes then Feat 983 will work

phtek is right. If this is a startalk then the F903 will not work as that did not become available until the endof life of the flash and now the callpilot. F983 will be you access.
