Hi,
Backup is reporting 'incomplete because it cannot backup (open) 3 particular files. They are,
W3404
Unable to open file. (FILE=C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\
Network\Downloader\qmgr0.dat, EC=SHARING VIOLATION)
W3404
Unable to open file. (FILE=C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\
Network\Downloader\qmgr1.dat, EC=SHARING VIOLATION)
W3404
Unable to open file. (FILE=C:\WINDOWS\system32\dhcp\dhcp.mdb, EC=SHARING VIOLATION)
qmgr0.dat and qmgr1.dat seem to be a wide common problem with backing up. I've read about excluding these from backup, but surely this cant be the best thing to do, because what happens when server goes bang!? You can restore but missing two/three files?? hmm.
Any one got ideas on best way to tackle this?
Cheers
