Play Post Dial message on phone intercom 2

Is there a way to play an automated message to all extensions over the phone intercom? I saw that there is a way using Post Dial.
I did program that and got it work, but it only plays the message whoever picks up first. I would like for it to play to all extensions, but over the phone intercom.

Is that possible or do I need a paging system to do that?

Create a dial paging hunt group
Add the members to this group.(huntgroup.make it a paging group.)
Set the post dial to dial this group
All phones will hear the message.

It is actually a little more complicated than that. You will need to create a shortcode that is a 'dial paging' action pointed to the group you want to page to, and it will need to be a pure number short code, no special characters. The only choice for playing a file is 'looped' so it will play until canceled. Canceling varies by phone type. 54xx-56xx you have to answer the page and hit conference. 95xx-96xx you just have to lift the handset. I haven't tested it with J100 series. Personally I would go with something external. If you need to access it by the phone system I would recommend the Viking DNA 510.

Hello budbyrd,

That did the trick. I put the shortcode as the extension in the Post Dial. Unfortunately they do not have a paging system, so the intercom on the phone will have to do.
