I have been running PMP on my laptop for a year and with every version that has been release in the last year I have had the same issue. Maybe twice per month PMP launches when I startup my computer PMP shows an error "failed to load profile from last location". Now I can browse to .\My Documents\Avaya\IP400\Profile and see that all of the files are still there, but I have to setup a new profile to get it to work. Does anyone else have these issues with PMP?

ocould be a windows update currupting something. do you have windows update set to automatically update, if so, turn it off and try that for a couple of weeks.

Could it be that the Documents\Avaya\IP400\Profile is saved on the domain controller instead of the PC your working in?
So if the windows login failed or drive mappings failed it could not load you profile?

It works! Now if only I could remember what I did...

My Documents folder is saved locally. I will try disabling updates for a while and see if that helps. I'm trying to isolate the trouble to shutting down windows without closing PMP first, or after connecting to another network then back again... I'll post my results.

Any update? I'm having the same issue on a client's system.

I have an open case with Avaya at this time. I just had the error this morning worked with Avaya. Hopefully I'll have more info soon.

Mine was an issue with the My Documents being redirected.

I am having this issue also.

The users my documents is on thier local computer. They are using Phone Manger 3.2.28. I have tried reinstalling. It seems to work half the time. It never works if I add it to the startup which is the desired option.

Anyone else have any luck?

Hi Guys,
I believe that PMP also writes values to the registry. Might want to look there to0.

My case is still open with Avaya. The only thing they told me to do was add "-debug" to the end of the shortcut. "C:\Program Files\Avaya\IP Office\Phone Manager\PhoneManager.exe" -debug

There will be a debug button on PM that you can press if you want to try to debug yourself.
