phone manager file Install.msi? 1

hi everybody
i'm looking for a way to install phone manager in each client but not fom every single pc
i heard that maybe is possible witha file as "Install.msi"
i looked in different release's folders but i haven't find it ?
am i right ?
can you help me?

Correct, it is entirely possible

It isn't there. Unfortunately you have to convert the user installation software into a MSI. This is a relatively straightforward process, but requires patience and a knowledge of Windows, and lots of testing... It is also best if you can work on a a machine that has a base OS build.

There are various software packages available that will help you do this, (avaya uses InstallShield to create their packages, so you might want to look at InstallShield first)

I have done this and taken all the extra langauages and tutorials out (UK and US english only) and reduced the MSI to about 20MB which is OK for Group Policy Deployment.

I can't really help more, unless you make an attempt and hit a specific problem.


By the way, I 'd wait a couple of days until the new software is released (then you don't have to do it all again)
