Perle IOLAN to CAS.

Here's the problem, the CAS will recieve call data from the Perle IOLAN via the CLAN; but after several hours the CAS acts as if it has lost connection to the Perle IOLAN.

What I end up doing is rebooting the CAS PC and cycling the power on the Perle IOLAN to get CAS to start receiving call data again.

What to do?

I have the same problem here. I use a small program called "anicapture".
I don't have to re-boot the IOLAN, just stop my "anicapture" software and restart it. It will then catch up with the IOLAN (ie: empty its cache). It stops daily without any pattern. I have tried everything but to no avail.

I fixed it!!! The solution I chose was to remove the Perle IO LAN out of the mix and just make the connection IP from the CLAN to the CAS.

For a whole month Avaya kept trying to fix the problem with multiple patches, when I kept telling them that it was the IO LAN.

It seems that more and more here lately, I've been fixing the PBX as opposed to Avaya. ... and to think that we subscribe to Avaya maintenance.
