Perl DBI for Solaris 5.6

Hello,

I am new to Perl and I need to install Perl DBI for Oracle 8.1.7 on a Solaris 5.6 server. I have Perl 5.00503 installed but I think the DBI is not installed.

I have found a download site
ftp://sunsite.unc.edu/pub/solaris/freeware/sparc/2.6
but not sure which version of Perl to download to get this DBI onto my machine

Any info on this is highly appreciated.

Install CPAN..

% perl -MCPAN -e shell

It should be a piece of cake using CPAN.
