Guys!

How perl can substitute java applets

For example if we need to create a application to make it to run in the web.We can use applet ie) we can create our own GUI's then we can embed it in the web .
How perl can be applied in this scenrio.

Perl don't have GUI support But i heard with tk we can do it.(please help me with some links where i can learn how to create GUI's using perl)
If we able to create GUI using perl ,Then how we can embed in the html.Like we have a tag for applet <applet>.
