Hi,

Recently I got at my office a HP Laserjet 4050 (including a DIMM installed for a special font).
When I tried to print from an old DOS application the ASCII values between 128 and 255 failed to show te correct characters. This is caused by the DIMM which is the standard.
My question is: Which PCL command do I have to use to switch between the DIMM font and the internal fonts and back?

Thanks!

It may be that the default symbol set is set to something other than PC8. Send at the beginning of the DOS print job,

<esc>(10U

which is the PCL command for PC8 symbol set.
