pause error messages 1

Anyone know of a way to pause error messages until I am done entering a command? Can't stand trying to figure out where i am in the command when bug messages keep popping up.

go to ld 17 and chg adan tty xx whichever one you are using.
xbug xsch xmtc on the USER prompt.

this will not stop them all together will it. I just want to pause until I finish typing
 
That's the only way to stop them, you put them back after your through. If you getting that many errors someone needs to take a look at it

I'm with Perry. why not try to figure out why you are getting BUG messages. You can ususally find a patch to correct just about any BUG error.

Remember "out of sight out of mind" doesn't work that well with the PBX equipment.
 
Shift + one star" will at least get you to the prompt you were at, so you can start that bug-interrupted line over.
