I have a customer who wants all of thier calls to be answered by a live person, but when they ask for a specific department, they want the call to to be parked and paged automatically by pressing a button, with a pre-recorded voice, "bakery, call holding on line 1."

I know Toshiba has something that will do that for them, any ideas on the nortel, BCM or MICs? I will also post in the BCM forum.

Thanks

I will have a callpilot hooked up, but is there a way to park and page after the call has been answered?

A receptionist has to answer the phone call first, then park and page it. But we want that page to be a generated voice, either pre-recorded or default.Any ideas? Letting the VM answer is not what the customer wants.

You can have the receptionist transfer the call to the extension and then in the mailbox greeting you would give the caller the option to have you paged.

that would work except that it would be for a specific department, say the Meat Department or the Produce department.

This would be in a grocery store and they would like to start using a single voice for all of thier pages
