Hi all,
I have 2 new computers both running XP Pro connected via crossover Cat5 cable.
PC1 has an ISDN connection while PC2 connects to the Internet via the network cable. My problem is PC2 causes PC1 to continually dial-up even though I am already connected. When I disconnect PC2 by pulling the cable, it fixes the problem.
It is very annoying for the dial-up adaptor to pop up every 5-10 minutes.
PC1 is using 192.168.0.1 while PC2 is using 192.168.0.2 with DNS numbers (for the ISP) installed. Both are accessing the Internet OK its just the dialler is a pain.
Thanks in advance for any help.........
