We are using Exchange 5.5 and have just started migrating clients to Outlook XP. There is a feature in Outlook XP that automatically tries to resolve names you type in the 'to' field of a new message. However, when it brings up the list of names to choose from it brings the mailbox name followed by the Directory name in brackets. This is causing a few problems for us since quite a few of our mailboxes have been renamed in the past. I know you can't change the Directory Name in Exchange so am trying to find a workaround on the Outlook client (other than turning this option off on a per-client basis). Any suggestions/ideas much appreciated. Thanks.
(I really don't know why Outlook suddenly needs to start using the Directory Name when there are so many other options available!!)
