Outlook "mark as read" doesn't work when also moving a message.

I'm trying to employ an outlook message rule that moves a message based to another folder (based on subject content)and then mark it as read. It appears to work, as I can see the message unbold in the INBOX in the instant just before it is moved. However, when it gets to the new folder, it is still marked as UNREAD (bolded).
I am using an exchange server, if that matters.
Any ideas on how to make this work?

Per thread 605-529249, I was able to get it to work by splitting into two rules. A MARK AS READ rule and a MOVE RULE.

I will just have to make sure I add any new words to scan for in the SUBJECT into both rules.
