Outlook Express. The folder, foldername, could not be cleaned up.

Windows XP and Outlook Express.
Receive "The folder, foldername, could not be cleaned up. There is not enough disk space. (File: filename.dbx, Error: 0x800C013C)" when trying to compact foldername.
How do I resolve? Thank you.

I would say that you have a corrupt folder (.dbx file). Unfortunately, the error doesn't tell us which one. Try to manually compact your folders to see if it hangs/errors on a particular one. In OE...Tools, Options, Maintenance tab, Clean Up Now button, Compact button.

Thank you for the response. Same problem. Can *.dbx files be renamed and then copied & pasted into the original *.dbx file?
