Outlook Express messages file??

I need to export all messages out of Outlook express, it always wants to export to Outlook. But when I try to run Outlook to export, the application crashes.

Is there another way to get the messages, and copy them into the new intall of Outlook express or Outlook?

Can't you just export them to a file, and then select .pst for the file. Then use whichever program you want them to go to and Import from file and select the .pst file that contains your mail.

That option is available in Outlook, not Outlook Express. Your only option in Express is an automatic export to Microsoft Outlook.
