Outlook express freezes computer when relpying.

Hello,

This guy is haveing a problem with outlook express freezeing his computer. He has windows ME and when ever he tries to relpy to an email his computer freezes up after the e-mail has been sent, as far as he can tell the e-mails go through.

This does not happen when he sends a new message only when replying. My first instinct was to tell him to re-install outlook express but I wasn't sure if the problem was in OE or win ME. Any Ideas would greatly be apreciated.

Can't really say for certain what is the problem but I would recommend changing OS from Windows ME to a better OS such as Windows 2000.

Anyway does the system suffer from a hard lock or does just the software lock? Has the client already performed the basics such as scandisk, defrag, remove temp files? Which version of OE and IE is being used? Have you tried testing OE by setting up a different account to test it out if you get the same issue? joegz
