outlook express 6 freezes

Hi Guys and Gals,

When I try to open a message (I'm using Outlook Express 6),the screen freezes up and have to reboot all the time .It basically happens on emails that are using packages,such as incredimail ???.

I cant even delete the messages that I think are the problem.

What can I do???????

Yes ,I'm running AVG.

Check your OE settings for anything odd, like procedures for downloads and message rules.

Are you having any other issues with the pc? Have you changed, deleted or uninstalled anything prior to this happening?
Is your AVG install up to date and set to scan email on the tab? Use heuristics?

Try turning some of these options OFF..and see if it changes anything. Use a safe email....if you are turning off the scanner. You can email something to yourself if you are concerned. Kimber
