Hi there - this is my first time posting so please be gentle with me!

We have a problem with excel attachments, we use Exchange 2000 and Outlook 2000 & XP clients. OS are a mixture of NT, 2000 & XP. This has been happening since yesterday morning, any Excel attachments that we receive contain no data. It does not matter whether we received the excel document from an external e-mail address or whether it was sent internally. The file name stays the same but when you open it there is no data.

We have tested by checking the file before it is attached and it is OK, once it goes to Sent Items there is no data. Also you can save to desktop and then open and it makes no difference.

Can anybody help???

Thanks in advance

OK, for those of you interested I discovered it was McAfee Spamkiller being overactive. It was stripping out the data but leaving the attachment in the e-mail... whoops
