My outlook 2000 doesn't display the images in my emails, they don't display onscreen or when printed. Outlook just displays a box with an x inside.

Any help grateful.

Check your security preferences for Outlook ( its tied with your Internet Explorer ).

Is this for all messages or messages with bad html encoding linking to images on c:/// instead of a website?

One person gets it on all thier emails but i only get it on templates created by the person that cant see any images.

.....uh...So, the person who has a problem with seeing images in their emails, who is composing html emails also can't see their stationery template images?

Sorry, im not following.

I think Peter replied with info in another thread: thread605-668740.

I am having a similar problem in Outlook 2000.

I am trying to create new (custom) stationery.

I have inserted a graphic file (a gif - I actually tried this with 2 similar gif files as well, one for a header format, the other as a footer, but I believe Outlook is limited to using just 1. More on this later.) After inserting the gif, I removed any text and did file --> save stationery (if I didn't remove all the text, this option would be grayed out).

However, when I go to call it up from the Stationery choices in Tools --> Options --> Mail Formats, etc., this choice is there, but with a blank preview. If I open the file anyway, it comes up blank.

I also did a search for the file in Windows Explorer, since I noticed these stationery default choices have an htm extension, not the proprietary Outlook format, but the searches come up empty.

Anyone familiar with this beast?

I did a repair from the CD but this didn't change anything.
Am running XP-P.

Thanks, thanks whoever you are :)~[
