I think Peter replied with info in another thread: thread605-668740.
I am having a similar problem in Outlook 2000.
I am trying to create new (custom) stationery.
I have inserted a graphic file (a gif - I actually tried this with 2 similar gif files as well, one for a header format, the other as a footer, but I believe Outlook is limited to using just 1. More on this later.) After inserting the gif, I removed any text and did file --> save stationery (if I didn't remove all the text, this option would be grayed out).
However, when I go to call it up from the Stationery choices in Tools --> Options --> Mail Formats, etc., this choice is there, but with a blank preview. If I open the file anyway, it comes up blank.
I also did a search for the file in Windows Explorer, since I noticed these stationery default choices have an htm extension, not the proprietary Outlook format, but the searches come up empty.
Anyone familiar with this beast?
I did a repair from the CD but this didn't change anything.
Am running XP-P.
Thanks, thanks whoever you are
