Outlook Dials up a connection

When offline in Outlook my computer dials up the network, sends/receives mail and then disconnects - Fine.

30 Secs later it redials and connects again automatically.

Have checked send receive settings in Outlook it is not set to redial after set time etc, where else could be relevant settings pls?
