Outlook attachment problem

I am using Outlook 98 on my Windows 95 PC and I encounter a problem with sending attachments in Outlook. When I send a message without an attachment it is automatically stored in the sent items folder. When I send a message with an attachment it disappears without trace. Anyone ever experienced this type of problem ?

Just a suggestion. When sending one of these e-mail click FILE - PROPERTIES and see if Save copy of sent message is checked.
