Outlook 98 freeze when shuting down

I have a strange problem, some computer with win2k and outlook 98, Outlook freeze when I try to close the application, I have a message "Please wait
while Microsoft Outlook exits." and it never goes away.

Task bar reveals mapisp32 still running, and until this is
forcibly closed, outlook will not terminate.
