Thanks in advance for all help!
I am migrating from an older machine to a new box. Both have Windows XP-Pro and Outlook 2003 installed. The old box had Outlook XP which was upgraded to Outlook 2002 and then Outlook 2003. The new box started fresh with Outlook 2003. I migrated my .pst files from one to the other and everything is working well, except for one thing.
On the old box, when I deleted a message from the inbox, it would send that message away to the Trash folder AND would move me to the next message in the reading pane (preview window), on the new machine, I have all the settings the same as far as I can see, but when I delete a message, it simply draws the line through the message showing the IMAP delete and stays on that message. Messages are sorted in date order, ascending, so the newest is on the bottom of the list.
What am I missing? How do I get the new box to get rid of deleted messages from the Inbox and move me to the next unread message?
Again, thanks for any help!
