Outlook 2003 Synchronization Troubles 1

I need to resolve this problem :

Every hour Outlook starts synchronization of all folders and that takes very long time and finaly outlook frezes so I have to reboot

I use laptop ,and this problem comes up when I'm in the office connected to the network ,when I go home and connect via VPN -have no such problem

Once again ,this outlook 2003 and Exchange 2003

Thanks in advance for help
