Outlook 2003 contacts field in need of a global change.

I have a few hundred contacts under my outlook. I need to be able to change the area cond (under the phone numbers) in at least half of them, to a different area code. I know I could export thme to a XLS file make the change in there and re import them.

Is there a way I can this change globally or from within the users Outlook?


Please help.
