I know this may be an impossibility, BUT....
Is there any way to recover a folder that has been deleted out of personal folders, without any sort of tape back up of the HDD?
I know that on the Exchange server, there is a utility to recover deleted items, but, what about personal folders?
Any information would be extremely appreciated.

Thanks (as always),

If you deleted a folder from your personal folder then it will be in the recycle bin for the personal folder. If you cleared out the personal folder recycle bin then it is gone.

If you deleted the entire personal folder (pst file) then recovery is only possible from backup or some HD recovery utility. joegz

Yes me meant the deleted items folder.

If the Outlook profiles and server based and the deleted items utility is turned on, you have a chance to recover just about anything.

If the Outlook profile is local, sorry to say but I'm afraid you're SOL without a backup.

Unless the local machine is using XP, where a stsyem restore will get you back your original .pst file (as well as deleting all the files that have been changed since then)
One thought then, if its that important, would be to go back on XP, save a copy of the original .pst file, and then undo the restore. I've used the restore to recover files, so I know it works, but I never tried to abort the restore after closing the initial window. (going ahead in time) *Remember.......
